Hi hi patrons!! Here is another early access to my next Youtube video, which will go live on Monday! I'm really happy with how this piece turned out and I'm glad I filmed the process of painting it ✨
In other news, I recently got a PO box, which was the big final step for me being able to mail out any kind of physical Patreon rewards!! 🎉 I've been doing a lot of thinking the past few days as to whether I want to open a storefront first or offer physical Patreon rewards first... my original plan was to do a storefront first, but doing Patreon first ends up being a lot simpler!
I'd be able to mail things simpler since they'd all be the same product, all mailed with stamps, and it'd be very easy to keep track of inventory. The only negative I'm dealing with right now is the concept of keeping Patreon rewards to be "Patreon-exclusive", meaning they wouldn't be available for sale at a future point in time.
I've made a few polls on my Instagram over the past day or so talking more in detail about it - but essentially, I currently don't think I put out enough art to limit some artworks to being Patreon-exclusive works, meaning prints that'd be offered through Patreon would eventually be for sale whenever I open an online store (I'm also still in the process of building up enough artworks to reproduce for a store, anyways, so doing that and then creating Patreon-exclusive art on top of that is a little too much for my plate right now!).
I've gotten really nice feedback on the subject, and currently I'm looking into doing prints for Patreon that have an exclusive finish (i.e. holographic finish offered for Patreon, but a matte finish offered for my future online store). This means I'd end up having to outsource the "exclusive finish" prints, but if anything, that'd make it a lot easier to do Patreon rewards. I'm kind of just shouting into the void about this, but if you guys have any kind of feedback, I'd love to hear it! The polls I've made on Instagram about this have been pretty torn (a lot of people want the Patreon content to be 100% exclusive - meaning they'd prefer the base artwork to be 100% Patreon exclusive) but I think I just need to settle with the concept of not pleasing everyone 😅
In a little bit more of exciting news for myself, I ordered a couple of self-inking stamps from VistaPrint earlier today, and I'm really really excited to get them!

I decided to get a return address stamp and well as a do not bend stamp to add some cute details to any kind of mail I'll be sending out!! I think eventually I'd also like to get some kind of "thank you" design, but these two cover the basics for me right now. I'll definitely make a post about them when they arrive letting you guys know the quality of the stamps in case any of you are interested in getting some on your own!
Have a wonderful weekend!
