so sorry to hear people got hacked, but most people who get hacked is because they are not securing their accounts right. Use yubie key for 2FA, use 2FA for emails and all accounts. Use VPN to connect .When you are in charge of your own bank it is your responsibility to keep it safe and do everything in your power to keep your funds safe.

DO NOT USE TXT MESAAGE 2FA. GET A YUBI KEY OR GET THE AUTHY APP. LOOK YOU CAN USE 2FA ON FACEBOOK, IF YOU EVEN USE THAT COMPROMISED SITE. STOP USING FACEBOOK. Gosh come on people please. Get a VPN for your home and for your phone use different VPN for each. Turn your router off at night at your home. Do not do any banking on your phone. Im just saying stop being an easy mark.

Something weird happened with my CB account this week. I can’t withdraw funds to my linked bank account now, but can buy crypto through linked account… I can only withdraw funds through PayPal. I just removed my bank account and hope to relink it again. Luckily I do have 2FA set up.

I had a friend need help recently because their Coinbase account was compromised and locked. Luckily I had told her to set up a 2FA when she set it up. But she only had the 2FA for withdrawal. They were able to move her Cryptos to CB Pro but not withdraw them. This was quite an ordeal to get access to her account again. Also I would note that scammers will pretend to be a friend on FB or through a game on your cell phone to get personal email and information to try and reset your accounts. I also went through this a while back having my SIM card taken over on my cell. I was lucky that I was on top of things to stop it. Right away I went and got a designated cell phone strictly for Cryptos. Had changed all my passwords, use ProtonMail now. Always have had my long term savings on my cold storage. I’m incognito the best I can. It’s very scary when this happens. I’m about to order a Yubikey.
