There have been two book-to-film adaptations of Dune, that I know of. One was the 80's movie (With Patrick Stewart and Sting!), and the other was a made-for-cable-television version, which went more in-depth with the book series than the older movie could. In my opinion, both were very good, for different reasons,and I'm looking forward to the newest adaptation, as well. 😃👍

2020-03-28 09:18:10 +0000 UTCI read Dune more than 20 years ago, and remember liking it a lot. But I have absolutely no memory of any of the characters or plot. So I’m really looking forward to the new movie, because I like the director, but also because I will be able to be surprised.
