Announcement: Some Tier Rejiggering
Added 2021-04-08 01:38:51 +0000 UTCI think you all will consider this some good news; here are some changes happening this month and next month:
1) animations are sometimes 80+ drawings, and I tend to get burned out after finishing one. You may have noticed that means some months go by without an animation. But, I’ve also felt somewhat inspired to draw some pinups again. So, starting next month, if I’m not actively working on an animation, I’ll draw you all a pinup. Yay!
2) a pinup of whom, you might ask? Well, I’ll choose the nominees, but now $25 and $50 tier supporters get to vote the winner. Same thing with choosing the next animation. This newly opens up voting to the $25 tier. This SHOULD fix the problem where the last 3 elections have ended in ties that I had to break, but still limits the voter pool to less than 15 people total (probably less, because historically less than half the eligible people vote here) so it still gives your individual vote a large amount of power.

Reasonable people can disagree... to be clear, they vote on animations too. This is just an extra something for the 25-ers because to me, they were getting the least for their money and to be one of just a few people getting to choose the next thing felt like a necessary rebalancing. And, everybody gets something cool for those months when I’m not doing an animation.

2021-04-10 01:16:58 +0000 UTCHonestly, 25 usd simply to vote on a pinup is an unreasonably high price compared to pretty much all other creators out there. Having votes on animations cost more, which take a lot more effort to make, is acceptable. But for 25 usd I'd almost expect to get a dedicated pinup of my own choosing. So yeah, not happy with this. Edit: I do know you take 50 usd for a sketch, and that's fine. I actually hadn't noticed the polls thing before here, as I have a lot of creators on my feed, but I still belive participating in a poll should be pretty cheap. Suggesting characters could be slightly more expensive tho, like 10usd. Being able to easily vote on character polls as well as suggesting nominees (that you choose from if you like the idea) is something I belive would give you more patrons tbh
