Jackanapes Redraw
Added 2022-09-06 16:44:43 +0000 UTCSometimes, when I think about publishing Jackanapes, I think, “The art in the beginning was not great, I should go back and polish it up, bring it more in line with the later stuff.” And then I think, “by the time I reach the end of Jackanapes, my art will maybe be even better, and trying to do this will result in an ouroboros of art revision that will eat up all my time.” And then I think, “but people really do judge graphic novels/comics by the art in the first few pages, and I don’t want people to judge my art by those first few pages.”
So, I dunno what I’m gonna do. In the meantime, enjoy a redraw of one panel of the first page of Jackanapes.
Also, I’m gonna try and drum up some more support by releasing animations in full color that are more than 2 years old. I want you all to have exclusives, but I figure no one cares about a 2 year old animation remaining exclusive, right? Just a heads’ up.
