Nakamasa Ichika - July 2023's Reward

Finally, It's done...after 14 days. Maybe Blue Archive's character designs are so simple that I always ended up drawing more than I expected because I think it doesn't have enough detail. For Ichika, I planned to draw this piece around 5-7 days so that I can catch the trend and have some reach. I even cut out mob chan in order to cut the time cost but in the end the background became too detailed and I was so late again.. Same thing happened when I drew Rio and Hasumi as well.

It's not that I regret making them. They look great after all but it's not the right time for things like this. For whatever I make each month, I really want to have at least one pretty set each month because I think it's the reason you guys are here.   Next two pieces I will try to make direct intercourse so that I can fill the time I lost on this piece. Although I said it's simple, I will try to keep the quality like the Cynthia piece I made last month.

Thank you for your patience !  Hope you guys will like it.

P.s: The way patreon show members are so misleading so I will public the number I got from fans from now on. Thank you very much for supporting me !

Thank you for such compliments as always ! Because her clothes are simple, I did my best to elaborate it. It surely satisfied my pride but not the deadline at all so I hope you don't mind if the next pieces will be very simple. I love the forest scene and I know there are many good views in the U.S. Cabin wood, the river, woods ...etc Damn, it is just so inspiring haha My hometown also have hill so I usually ride my bike there whenever I have some free time  ( those rest day I lost since the deadline T.T ) so I can understand your feeling somehow. Anyway, Hope I can make a good forest setting again when I actually have time to research more about it. Like I said, it's just so inspiring that I want to try it ! Now time to rush the deadline ! I will be back soon !

Yeah, She is so cute so I really overdid this time. When I finished making the base color for this one, I found it just...too plain so I tried my best to make it more interesting and it end up like this lol It's hard to describe it and cost time as well because there is no certain shape or form, I just have to think and use physic for it. I am glad that it turned out well ! Well, I am pretty satisfied with this piece. Now time to fight the deadline !

Oh wow she's so cute! That pose with that facial expression is absurdly adorable. I really like the implied motion of this one, with her hair and her skirt whipping around as she smiles. The way she holds herself also differentiates her from other poses by highlighting her curves in different ways. Even though the designs are simple, you put enough detail and effort into them to make them come alive and feel like real clothes over real skin; the wrinkles in the clothing where they contour to her body or curve around her knuckles, or the little bump around her nipple are good examples of this. Creases where worn clothes would show them, as well as the lines in the fabric where things are woven together, like the one you can see coming down her left arm and down her torso behind her left breast. Google tells me there are fancy names for these things like "selvage creases" and "grainlines". I dunno which that is as I'm not a weaver or tailor but it's a really cool detail. The background is also incredible. I want to go on a vacation there. There's an elevation to the woodland terrain that makes it look hilly and inviting; I live in Georgia which is a pretty hilly state in the U.S. so I have a bit of a preference for hills over flat land. The winding river and the calm twilight make it look so peaceful and relaxing. The gate in the background and the beach dividing us from the town make us feel like we're steps away from the hustle and bustle of the city, too, for those who might want or need to step away from the tranquility of nature. These are really pieces that I need to hang on my walls. Thank you again for your hard work. I think you show us how small differences in posture can make a large difference when you put the detail in, and how an incredible background with beautiful colors can elevate a piece and provide good contrast to the focus character. I really love this one. I really enjoyed the Cynthia piece too, so rest assured that I feel like you're on the right path. Hang in there, you're doing great!

She looks amazing! I love the very playful expression you gave her. Although her clothes aren't very complicated, I think you made them look great with the way it flows and detail you added. The background is also gorgeous! It fits the colors of her clothes extremely well with thr dark sky and dark green trees and grass. I love everything about this illustration!
