Patreon Change.. in a couple days
Added 2017-04-28 20:11:01 +0000 UTCHey dudes. After Patreon has charged y'all for this month (which usually happens between the 1st and the 3rd) I am gonna change my page to a "pay-upfront" system.
This means absolutely nothing for those of you who are already patrons, but it will mean that new pledges will be charged as soon as they pledge, rather than getting a "free month" of content. The problem with the current system is I get a lot of people pledging, enjoying their content, then deleting their pledge at the end of the month (or just providing fake payment info in the first place). Kinda sick of it.
Again, it won't mean any change for you guys that are already patrons - nor will it affect how much you get charged at the end of the month. If you're a $1 patron, you'll get charged your $1 and no more, etc. So, nothing to worry about, but hopefully it'll allow me to more accurately budget how much I get from Patreon before it's actually charged.
So, yeah, just a heads up for something that'll be happening in the first few days of May.
