Marge Comic Sketch + News

'sup.

First off, working on the next Marge page since the Patreon kept over the comic milestone (thanks to everyone, so much!), so here's a sketch. Lemme know what you think before I line it!

Second, news about what's gonna be happening with my art and websites, etc etc.

So, first off, in case you are out of the loop, a few weeks ago I received both a legal threat (which turned out to be empty), and a dox threat (which turned out to be real, but the guy backed down when I threatened to just stop drawing altogether), both within the same week. I was understandably upset, and it made me realise something I've been ignoring for a long time.

I don't really enjoy the whole drawn porn industry (or whatever you'd call it). I don't like the circlejerks of tumblr/hentai foundry etc, I don't like being embarrassed about my art when someone from "real life" finds out about it, and I don't like my career choice as a whole.

Now, this isn't to say I don't enjoy the simple act of drawing smut - when I draw something I really like, then yeah, it's a good feeling. But it'd be rad if I could y'know, do more with it - rather than just create a huge log of pictures on Rule 34 that just sit there gathering dust along with the other thousands and thousands of smut drawings that get made daily. It's just not something I can look through and feel proud about.

So, yeah, things are gonna change. Now, first off,

The things that're gonna change are how I share my work. I am sick of updating my site, and especially sick of updating multiplesites, so I'm gonna axe my Tumblr and my official site. Not sure when, yet, but "soon".

All my art is gonna go straight to Patreon for you guys, and then it's up to you if you wanna share it or not. If I'm super happy with a pic I might upload it to Paheal myself, but other than that, I'll leave it to you. That way, you get to see it before anyone else, just like always, and if you wanna share it with your friends then you're more than welcome to.

So, yeah, Patreon will be the only place to see 100% of my stuff, although I'm sure at least 80% of it will leak to the rest of the web eventually. Content itself should stay about the same, with the sketch/HD/PSD packs going up each month as per normal.

I'm gonna be working on some other stuff behind the scenes, but since I want to keep it separate from blargsnarf I can't really talk about it here. Suffice to say I am not planning on abandoning the web at any point in the discernable future.
