Thorntail Monk – Tiny monstrosity, lawful neutral

Emerging from the darkest crevices, their agents crawl the nights on their quest; a quest that is inexplicable to most. The awakening is near, they mumble in their search for “long-lost knowledge” and “vanished artifacts”. Any inconspicuous object others would consider to be junk is eagerly carried away: simple recipes, bland notes, broken forks, old coins, worn out socks – they are all treasures “of ancient significance”. If left alone, the thorntails will ignore anyone but also any decency when it comes to achieving their goals. If hindered from fulfilling their duty or harmed, however, they know too well to enforce their agenda.
