5 - Aldera High [LDA]

[ Aldera High, Musutafu ]

[ 2 April 2198 ]

"Welcome, Tatsuma-san! Welcome, welcome!" the principal smiled, frantically bowing to both him and his sister. "We're so glad to have you here!"

Ryuji had to hold back a scoff.

He didn't need his enhanced senses to tell that this guy was full of it. But the fact that Aldera's principal had the incredible urge to suck up to anyone with power, well, that was hardly a bad thing for Ryuji. It was why they had let Ryuji slide right into the start of the school year, all of the forms and procedures that they were probably supposed to wade through vanishing without a trace at the mention of Ryuko's hero name.

In fact, it made Ryuji wonder just what he'd be able to get away with.

"Don't worry about it," Ryuko said, calm and composed. On the outside, at least. Not having a single orgasm the last five days, her brain was in a constant lusty, subby fog. It was only thanks to Ryuji's total control over her that she was able to function. She had already broken a few times, but thanks to the sigils, she would never truly break...

<Just two more days, sis.>

Her pussy throbbed.

"Should I just head to class...?" Ryuji asked, an eyebrow raised. Despite the principal's antics amusing him, he really couldn't care to stay here any longer.

"Yes, yes. That should be perfectly fine," the principal assured, turning back to his desk, grabbing a schedule and handing it to Ryuji. "We made sure to grant your request."

Ryuji smiled thinly. "Thanks."

His 'request' being to share a class with Bakugo.

Now, Ryuji hadn't spied on or even looked into the Bakugos or the Midoriyas, and his request had been a complete shot in the dark. Ryuji didn't even know until right this very moment if they went to Aldera, or if they even existed in this reality at all... but it seemed that they do.

It was like a test of sorts–

Exactly how closely did his 'AU' resemble that of the original series?

Ryuji could find out a good chunk of things just by googling, or even just by using his common knowledge. Despite hardly ever watching the news, Ryuji knew about I-Island. David Shield was an icon. Whether or not that meant the plot of the first movie was going to happen or not, though... that was up for debate. As for the next two movies, Nabu Island was a real place, and Humarise was a real organization.

Captain Celebrity was also a hero that Ryuji had heard of, along with O'Clock.

So there was a very real chance that all of the movies were 'canon' to his universe, including the spin-off manga, Vigilantes, which had already taken place.

Except... Manami never became La Brava.

In canon, Manami Aiba had fallen in love with the persona of Gentle Criminal, seeking out the silver-haired gentleman to become his accomplice. His reality's Manami, though, she had never even heard of the guy. She just never happened to come across one of his videos.

They still existed on the internet, his poorly edited and posted crimes, but they somehow had even less traction than they should, Gentle no longer having a tech-savvy assistant. With both Gentle Criminal and La Brava being minor villains in a self-contained arc, though, this change didn't really have an effect on the overall plot.

Ryuji wasn't going to fret over it though. That'd be stupid.

His existence alone was enough to ruin the supposed 'canon' straight out, not even mentioning all of the other universal changes. Ryuji was strong enough that he didn't really have too much to worry about anyways.

No, he was just curious as to how far they've strayed from canon already.

That was why when he made his way to his first class of the day, entering the classroom a fashionable 10 minutes late, his expectations all but blank... Ryuji stopped in his tracks.

"Oh, Tatsuma-san, right? I'm glad you could make it!" the teacher smiled, a smile eerily similar to that of the principal. "Most of the third-years already know each other, so we were just going over the syllabus... but why don't you introduce yourself to the class?"

Perfectly hiding his surprise, Ryuji smiled warmly. "Sure thing."

He walked to the front of the classroom. With his tie undone, his uniform bulging to cover his physique, and his height towering over everyone else... the classroom was a little intimidated by him. Not to mention his 'dyed' hair.

It wasn't dyed, but it looked like it was, giving him the vibes of a delinquent.

"I'm Ryuji, Ryuji Tatsuma. Feel free to call me Ryuji. Let's see... I like gold, women, and a good fight–" Ryuji got a couple of groans and scoffs– "which suits my Quirk, Dragonification, pretty well."

Then in an instant, his nails extended into claws, his canines descended into fangs, and his uniform nearly burst as his physique swelled, his entire body covered in scales. He even let out a small burst of flames to paint the picture of a dragon.

The only thing he hadn't released was his wings, not wanting to tear his shirt.

"Wow! You're a dragon?!"

"Cool Quirk man!"

"Thanks," Ryuji chuckled in response, his focus on two people in particular.

One meek, plump, green-haired cutie, mumbling up a storm as she thought about all of the potential applications of his Quirk... and one angry, supple figured tomboy who was grinding her teeth, eyeing him like he was some sort of late-stage rival.

"There's an empty seat at the back, but if you want someone to move–"

"Thanks teach, but I'm fine," Ryuji cut the man off, walking towards the only empty seat, which just so happened to be right behind the girl still mumbling about his Quirk.

'This... will require a change of plans.'

RING!

As the bell rung signaling the end of class, the teacher left, and all the students stayed in the same classroom, chatting as they waited for the next teacher to arrive.

The way that Americans ran all around their highschool campuses, desperately trying to get to all of their classes on time... Ryuji didn't get the appeal.

"So," Ryuji started, a few people turning his way. "A strong defensive Quirk that gives the user really good methods of attack, making him a perfect counter to most strength types... how come you know so much about me already?"

His eyes glistened in amusement as the greenette girl in front of him stilled.

She didn't respond, only looking down at her desk. Ryuji found her meek, shy behavior kind of cute, but it was also kind of sad knowing how she had acquired it.

"I'm talking to you, greenie."

"EEP!" she let out a squeal, turning to face him for a moment, before immediately chickening out and facing back towards her desk. "U-um, well, that's..."

"Because she's a freak."

Ryuji raised an eyebrow, slowly turning to the hot-headed tomboy. Bakugo.

"How so?" he asked, feigning curiosity.

"Tch. Deku obsesses over Quirks, hoping that if she studies them enough, she'll wake up with one of her own," Bakugo chuckled, and a few others chuckled as well. The Quirk-obsessed girl sinking further into her seat.

"Hmmm... so you don't like her because she's Quirkless?"

Bakugo clenched her teeth. "Tch! It'd be fine if Deku stayed in her lane, but the bitch thinks that she can be a hero! Fucking worthless...!"

The room went quiet. No one was outright agreeing with her, but no one was even trying to speak out against her... which was almost just as bad, in Ryuji's opinion. It was no wonder that Deku had turned out like this, growing up in such a horrid environment.

"I see," he replied, turning back to Deku, frowning. "What's your name?"

"Katsumi–"

"No, not you. I'm asking greenie."

Deku shot straight up in her chair, surprised, but before she could even think to answer...

"YOU FUCK, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU–"

"Quiet."

Katsumi gasped, nearly tumbling backwards, her legs shaking. With his aura pressing down on her, he was surprised she could even stand... but he supposed that such a feat should be expected of the protagonist's rival. This is the tomboy that eventually went on to fight All For One himself, after all.

"Now what's your name, greenie? I know it isn't Deku."

Her mind whirling at the scene before her, not even able to comprehend the idea of someone being able to shut Katsumi down like that, Deku stalled... before blushing as she realized that she still had a question to answer. "I-It's Izumi! Izumi Midoriya."

"Izumi... it suits you." she blushed at the compliment, despite it barely even being an actual compliment. "You doing anything later, Izumi?"

"U-Um, no...?"

"You wanna go out?" he asked, everyone's eyes widening on the spot. No one in a million years expecting Deku of all people to be asked out on a date. Deku included.

"You seem pretty cool, hanging out with you sounds like it'd be fun," he followed up.

Izumi's mind was a whirling mess, going from being asked out by a boy, to just 'hanging out' with a boy. An extraordinarily tall, muscly, handsome, pretty boy at that.

"W-Why do you want to hang out with a Quirkless freak?!"

Ryuji honestly had to give it to Katsumi– she was willing to stand up against him, after facing his aura, which must've felt like death. The only reason she could, though, was probably due to her not understanding what she was facing... as well as her entire mindset revolving around the fact that, inside a classroom, she was untouchable.

He also knew the perfect way to piss her off, too. All he had to do was glance at her, than subtly roll his eyes as he turned back to Deku. "What do you do in your free time, Izumi?"

Izumi opened her mouth to respond, but she couldn't– she didn't know what to say. With it being so long since she just... had a conversation, no one wanting anything to do with the hero-obsessed Quirkless girl, she had practically forgotten how to talk to people. Luckily for her, she had plenty of time to figure it out.

RING!

Since their next class was starting.

Izumi couldn't understand it.

She had expected her last year of highschool to be the same, with everyone looking down on her... and for the first few minutes, it was. Everyone drew away from her like she was radioactive, as if her Quirklessness was contagious. It didn't help that she just loved Quirks, either... but how could she not?

Superpowers were real, and practically everyone had them! Every time she saw a new one, she felt like she had to study it. That was just who she was.

And if studying Quirks increased her chances of being a hero, well... it wouldn't hurt.

She just had to last one more year of highschool, that was it.

Except just ten minutes into the first day, Ryuji arrived. Tall, buff, and handsome, and with one of the coolest Quirks ever, Izumi could tell that even if he was new, he was going to be popular.

Then Ryuji asked her out.

Or well, to hang out.

Not only did he somehow fend off Kacchan with words alone, but Izumi then spent the next few hours at an arcade with Ryuji and two others, Ryuko and Manami. His sister and his girlfriend. It had been a little awkward at first, with it being Izumi's first time hanging out in... forever. Not to mention that she was jittery, mumbling mess.

But they didn't care what her Quirk was– in fact, it had never even come up!

They just spent the afternoon having fun.

Finding out that Ryuji already had a girlfriend, though... it stung a bit. Izumi should have known that someone like Ryuji would already had someone. And despite their– ahem– size differences, Izumi had to admit that Manami was simply stunning. 'Not to mention the way that Ryuji had um, uh, touched her in public when he thought no one was looking...'

Izumi blushed, her ears emitting steam just thinking about it.

Then they had dropped her off at her house.

Her mother had practically smothered her when she got home, asking her all sorts of questions about her new supposed friends, which made Izumi want to scoff. Her mom was far too overprotective, even if Izumi knew why that was the case. But Izumi assured her that Ryuji and his friends were just... nice people.

That was what she didn't understand. She wondered if it was just pity, and that was why he had bothered to talk to her... but she couldn't bring herself to ask it. This was her first friendship– besides Kacchan's– that she has had in over a decade. Izumi wasn't going to risk it by raising baseless accusations. She couldn't.

She just hoped that Ryuji really wanted to be her friend...

But as Izumi stared at her ceiling in the dark, wrapped up in her All Might covers, she couldn't see a single reason why he'd ever want to.
