It has great realistic details, but they're applied in a way that just makes how cartoony they look stand out even more. Maybe it'll grow on me? What do you guys think of this for our cover art?

There is nothing worse for an artist than "design by committee" Everyone will have their own opinion of what looks good or is appropriate. Try not to over think it and just go with what resonates with you.

2019-03-13 17:26:25 +0000 UTCHmm i have a few suggestions: 1. The Background is too light. The pillars/walls are light grey, the clothes of bystanders are light. This kinda takes the focus away from Steph n Kelly. I think it should be darker maybe dark grey/ dark blue. Could even change the time of day to night. 2. Steph here is the 2nd design you got back? i think the 3rd one with closed lips and dimples look better. Also I thought you were gonna go with the transformed pink hair/ red highlights? 3. The crowd also needs to be more indistinct so as to not take away attention from the main 2. The greens in the background need to go and should have more dark colors. I think that's my main complain, the background isnt background enough it takes away from the main characters.
