Tough Choices

Artist is giving us some tough choices. Make your call and explain why if possible, your reasoning might help others decide. Running the poll for 24 hours, don't want to leave the artist hanging for too long.

I asked the artist to go with fifteen-sixteen, which should more reflect her age towards the end of the first volume.

2019-06-23 01:23:00 +0000 UTC#1. Although #2 fits more thematically with the story, the first picture is more engaging with the viewer, which would help draw in people who are unfamiliar with the work.

2019-06-21 01:03:42 +0000 UTC#1 because, while both feel a little melancholy, looking up, she looks hopeful or expectant

2019-06-20 18:44:35 +0000 UTCHoly hell, I've never seen a poll with this many votes in such a dead heat like this. Both ways look too damn amazing, and it's too hard to choose.

2019-06-20 17:04:30 +0000 UTCI would jump on the #2 train if the expression was a bit different. Currently, she looks a bit at ease, like she's resting on the stairs, fondly reminiscing about some distant, happy memory. The expression doesn't really line-up with the Tabitha we've seen thus far (Who know though, maybe that's where she's headed). If she looked a bit more troubled or contemplative on the tough decisions she needs to make, I'd definitely jump on #2 because I generally prefer compositions where the subject is not looking directly at the viewer. But since I'm voting on current composition rather than hopeful potential, I have to go with #1 because of that more expectant, eyebrows-slightly-perked, "Oh who's this?" kind of look she's giving us. It feels more like the character as I've experienced them to date.

2019-06-20 16:22:25 +0000 UTCI'd say #2. Got that introspective look, like she's thinking about how she's going to do things differently this time around.
