2024-08-07 11:42:30 +0000 UTCIt did occur to me that two traumatic brain injuries could readily leave someone altered enough to explain things to Ashlee (without the need to get her to buy into the time travel stuff). Shortly before we got married, I managed to crash the car we were driving into a telephone pole. In addition to a broken foot, she did have a concussion. And, afterward, there were some minor things that changed for her (in particular, some authors she seemed to enjoy before she simply couldn’t get into again afterwards). Little things, but stuff that I at least noticed at the time. In case you needed a way forward there. Heck, Ashlee’s doctor could explain this to her, so Tabby doesn’t feel like she’s lying to Ashlee.
