It All Started With A Mouse

The model that started it all, Mickey Mouse is now available to download below.

This was my very first Zbrush sculpt, thanks to my baby boys love of Mickey Mouse, I really enjoyed modelling him and was so happy with the print I decided to turn it into a collection, which I'm genuinely excited to see come together over time. I try to choose poses that represent the characters best and what could be better than the sweet and innocent iconic pose to represent Mickey.

He printed on the fist try with no issues but after a particularly difficult battle with some supports, resulting in Mickey losing a finger and half of his tail, I decided to also include the tail separately in case anyone else runs into the same problem, but after a little sanding and some careful placement you'd never know. Thankfully he stands fine without the tail so I wouldn't worry if you cant get it perfectly accurate to the floor. With it being so thin its a little temperamental but it did print fine 5/6 times with a brim enabled and the speed reduced to 40.
