Flounder WIP

A little sneak peak at Ornamental Flounder, he's all done and should be out on the page later tonight if not tomorrow depending on how the test print runs. He's on print now so fingers crossed!

The patterning is coming along really well and Flounder should be done in a few hours, I've only got his hair and fins left to go and he'll be ready for the test print. I can't wait to see him finished!

Flounder is finally all finished and ready to go, I'm really happy with this one and he was nice and simple for a change! I might do a month dedicated entirely to fish at some point. There were a few more changes I ended up doing, like making his nose smaller and his smile bigger but the test print looks ace and he's going to make a great addition to the model collection.

I'll be working on the patterning over the weekend, they will be a lot smaller this time and I learned from Cleo that fish are just difficult to pattern in general, but if all goes well the ornamental version will be up on the page in a few days.

I've done loads of work on Flounder today and he's looking great so far! I'm really happy with the model and I've only got his stripes left to go before cleaning everything up so I can run the test print. It's quite late so I'll finish what's left in the morning and hopefully if all goes well I'll have the clean version up on the page sometime throughout tomorrow night.

I'll post a picture of the finished model here when he's done.
