There's nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked gingerbread cookies around the house to create that festive feeling, so why not add a sinister twist for all those 'bah humbug!'-ers in your life with the Poison Apple cookie cutter. I decorated mine with a bunch of different Christmas themes to tie in with the holidays but they can be adapted to add a villainous twist to any occasion throughout the year. When you're done baking cookies store them in the accompanying Christmas pudding cookie jar for a unique holiday decoration!
I've printed mine with regular PLA so when the cookies were all gone I used it to store all my Christmas baking supplies for next year, but for long term use with food its recommended to make the cookie jar food safe. You can do this by replacing your brass hot end with a steel one, before washing and then sealing the print using a food safe resin like Alumilite clear cast. Once cured it should be completely food safe, and you'll be free to fill it with all of your festive foods!
If you have any cookie related tips please feel free to post them in the comment section below! See you in the next post for something to add a little magic to the Christmas models.
Thanks!
