Lucifer WIP

Its been a long few days working on the ornamental variant but I'm almost finished with the patterning. I'm just in the process of neatening up the final details and then I'll be running the test print so If all goes to plan the Ornamental model should be out on the page sometime tomorrow night along with renders for both versions. The final model photo post of my printed and painted versions will also be out on Thursday but I'll keep the page updated as I go

So I got a little bit carried away with the details but Lucifer is officially finished! I made his stance a lot more crouched and creepy because I thought it looked a little too playful before and I really wanted to create the impression that he's creeping up behind the mice, I also changed his arm to make it look like he's about to strike. I then added a bit more shape to his tail, modeled in his paws and whiskers and marked in all his fur and details. 

It's took a little while longer than I expected but I'm really happy with the end result and so excited to put him together with Gus to get some concept pictures for the 3 part model. I'll be running the test print for Lucifer tonight and if all goes well the clean variant will be out tomorrow, apologies for the slight delay.

Just a quick update on the current models progress, It's going good so far with all of his body parts blocked in and the details on his face started. I think I've captured his big evil smile and creeping pose quite well so far. I still have his whiskers to model in and all of the details on his paws and body yet to go, I also want to make a few minor changes to his stance and tail so the finished model may be slightly different than above. 

I'm aiming to finish these parts off by tomorrow night so I can run the test print over night and if all goes well the clean version will be out for Friday 13th, followed by the ornamental model and the photo post for my fully printed and painted models out in a few days.
