Starting off this months models I introduced the first villain to the page with the arch nemesis of Cinderella's mice, Lucifer. I had a lot of fun modeling this one, trying to capture his stalking pose and trademark evil smile, and I'm happy to say he's turned out exactly how I planned and I'm really pleased with the end result.
I wanted a more true to the original appearance for the Clean Variant to match with my Gus model since I plan on making them as a set. This time however I decided to use some lacquer to give the finished model a really glossy appearance since I didn't love the original satin finish to the paints.

To paint him I used Valejo game colours, starting off with a dark mix of Black and Dead White to make the grey colour for his main fur. I then used Black for his head, claws, pads and details. To paint his paws, chest and tail tip I used Bone White, which I again mixed with Dead White to create the colour for his face. Finally I used squid pink for his nose and ears, followed by Goblin Green and Escorpena Green for his eyes. I then used a grey wash to bring out the details on his teeth.
Since Lucifer is one of my favourite villains I decided I wanted to print the ornamental model as big as I could, which ended up being roughly 23cm lengthways. He's printed beautifully and I really want to take my time painting him so I'll post the pictures of the finished model when he's done.
There's still 2 more character models to come this month, with Mushu due out tomorrow or Tuesday and Cat Yzma before the end of the month alongside a good few extras so stay tuned! Up next is Mushu's character intro post, out later this evening.
