Mushu WIP
Added 2023-01-24 02:28:59 +0000 UTCThe ornamental's are finally finished for Mushu, they took a little longer than usual because I had to make them quite small to fit with his long thin, shape, but I'm really happy with the way he's turned out and the test print is currently running. The ornamental model will be out on the page throughout tomorrow along with renders and the Mulan inspired zen garden.

The model is coming together amazingly and I'm very nearly at the finish line, I've still got his back spikes to model in and then its just his details left to do so I'll run a mini test print to make sure he stands properly and then he'll be out on the page throughout tonight at some point providing he stands. There'll be 2 versions of him available, 1 with his gong and 1 without. I'll post a completed picture when he's all done.

Things are going well with the Mushu model so far, I've mostly finished with his head, which has been a bit more of a challenge because of all the sharp edges, and I've also started to build up his main body. I'm slightly off schedule because of delays with Lucifer but I'm pretty happy with the model so far.
I've still got a fair bit of modeling to do with his body and claws and I still have to run a test print to make sure he balances but I should be finished working on him sometime throughout tomorrow. I plan on running the test print overnight so he should be out on the page on Wednesday, closely followed by the ornamental version, which should be out no later than Friday.
I'll post all my work in progress for Mushu here, so be sure to check this post for any future updates on the model.
