Lotso WIP

The patterns are now all finished on the Lotso model. I'm currently trying to incorporate his fur between the patterns because I really like the way it looks on the clean variant, I'm not sure if this will just make the patterns disappear into the model so I'll have to test it out first but I'll update the page later with the result. Either way ornamental Lotso will be out on the page later tonight, hopefully with fur!

Fluffy Lotso now all completed! This was a really fun sculpt, despite not having loads of poses to choose from I quite like the way this one has turned out, he's really detailed for a simple model and his expression has turned out somewhere in the middle between nice and mean which I think works oddly well for this character. I'm definitely going to mess about with the shadows for the photos and try to recreate his sinister shadowy appearance from the scene. But overall l I'm pretty happy with this one and I think the label is probably my favourite part. It's the little details.

The basic model of Lotso is now pretty much done, I'll probably do some more slight alterations as I go but so far I'm quite happy with his overall shape and pose. I've added all his stitching and details and fixed his body position as well as re-positioned his head to get a better angle on him looking upwards, so he now looks appropriately mean and scary.

I'll be adding his fur on in the next step so I'll update this post with a progress picture later on today.

Lotso is coming along nicely so far, I've managed to block in all his basic shapes and now just need to neaten everything up and flesh him out a little more. I still need to fine tune the pose and add all his subtle details but I should be moving onto his fur later tonight.

I've based his pose on the scene where factory reset Buzz is attacking all the toys and Lotso is just watching with a smile on his face as the camera pans in on him. Its such a cool scene because we basically get a first look of how truly monstrous Lotso is with him no longer hiding behind his nice guy persona.

I'll update this post with a picture of the finished model before I add his fur later on tonight.
