Thanks For Noticin' Me
Added 2023-10-01 14:42:33 +0000 UTCAs a happy surprise this month our next character was Disney's one and only depressed donkey Eeyore! He was always my favourite character in Winnie the Pooh when I was younger, although I feel I relate a lot more to Rabbit these days, nonetheless Eeyore is a welcome relief among Disney's cast of insanely optimistic characters, and great at delivering the message its ok to not be ok.
To paint Eeyore I used Valejo Gunmetal for his main colour and Silver for his snout and underside. I used Arteza Rose Quartz for his ears, Pearl Pink for his bow and finally for his hair I used Valejo black gloss mixed with Arteza Space Gray. I'm really happy with the end result, the model has come out beautifully and with his silver colours he looks great alongside my golden Winnie the Pooh.
I eventually plan to make all of the characters from the Hundred Acre Wood along with a few extras such as; a sculpt based on Pooh's honey scene, some book ends and a really cool Winnie the Pooh inspired book nook featuring all the characters!
