As progress continues on bringing Valorforce to you, it is finally time to introduce the final Player Character: Vika the Janus played by Mo!

Who is VSPR?

Vigilante violence breaks out yet again in the Neighborhood between 33rd Street and Lightspire Drive, commonly referred to by it’s residents as ‘The Corridors.’ HCPD officers arrived on-scene to a reported domestic disturbance incident, only to find the alleged attacker already pinned to the outside of his apartment on Holmes Street by a magnetized steel girder. Another sign of the dangerous vigilante known only as VSPR (pronounced Vesper.) 

Those who have encountered the vigilante note that they’re covered from head to toe in piecemeal riot and airsoft equipment, covered by a dark cloak. They clearly possess some metahuman ability to effect electromagnetic fields. 

The HCPD have begun a detailed investigation into the possible identity of VSPR by comparing the noted metahuman abilities to Halcyon City metahuman databases. However, Police Captain Gino Papadopalous has stated that no known metahumans in Halcyon City with electromagnetic powers fit the profile of VSPR, leading investigators to believe that these powers are recently developed. Citizens are encouraged to contact local police immediately if you know anything that might lead to the arrest of this dangerous criminal.

While the police have made it clear that they will arrest anyone caught taking the law into their own hands, other members of the community have expressed support for VSPR and like-minded vigilantes acting in direct opposition to the law. This debate continues to rage on in the wake of an uptick in metahuman crime, following the passing of the Honor Act over one year ago, while police departments across the country adapt to incorporating metahuman officers to their ranks.

Vika Lowell is a resident of Halcyon City, following her miraculous escape from Juan Johnson’s Lone Star Hegemony in Houston, Texas. She lives with her adoptive parents Reid and Meira Lowell; a young married couple who agreed to take her in, despite her refugee status. Per the company agreement, Vika has no social media presence. 

Despite the development of metahuman abilities of her fellow survivors, company assets report that she’s shown no signs of superpowers herself. Vika currently attends classes at Bruce Lee High School and has a part time job at a local 7th Heaven Pantry Store. Assets will continue to monitor her situation, but report that for now, she appears to be living her life as a normal teenaged girl despite the trauma she endured in the incident.

Personal notes: "I wish I could get my hands on this VSPR person. New blood like that is exactly what this city needs right now. Luckily for me, VSPR seems to be operating near one of my Boltholes. I’ll have to get in touch with Leroy and see if I can cash in a favor or two so that I can operate a bit closer to the action. My intuition tells me that the Corridors are going to be the epicenter of something huge over the course of the next few months."
