Making of "Camellya straddling a big red balloon"
Added 2025-06-01 06:41:28 +0000 UTCNothing much new to say here, actually. Except for rambling how difficult it was to combine a cool artist style I used on Vivian with Camellya lora. But in the end I somehow did it.
This time I didn't have any particular ideas in mind (except for that old one), I just wanted to make a pic with her sitting on a balloon.
So I let the AI generate some pics for me with appropriate prompts.
Here are some examples:
Honestly I wasn't very impressed. Somehow with Vivian lora and beach balls AI was producing much better results. Here it was struggling to make the balloons deform (with beach balls it at least was trying). Also for some reason point of view was always not great. I think that is also lora to blame.
But eventually I got this:
Now it was a matter of editing to make it look decent. Though in the end I had to draw by hand quite a lot of stuff.
Also found a cool trick. I can make the balloons transparent by duplicating the BG and stamping the background onto balloons, masking it and then carefully reveal the layer with airbrush on the balloons
