2020-01-01 18:03:39 +0000 UTCI have a bootleg copy of "Song of the South." Yes, it's a patronizing depiction of slavery, but there are some great characters (based on actual African folk tales in the case of the Brer critters), a great song, some beautiful animation, and a subplot that honors the idea of defending the vulnerable. It's still worth a watch if you can try to see past the anachronisms.
