Hey - I finally finished it!
I really liked this in the beginning, but it turned out to be one of the most tedious and unsatisfying artpieces e-v-e-r. I - just couldn't get it right somehow. In the end, I am still not super happy with it as it lacks detail and the something if you know what I mean.

I really wanted to do another red/pink artwork, but it actually turned out to be the main issue of everything. See: I colorgraded everything everytime I opened the file because it just looked off each time I came back to it until I actually turned off all the color layers and voilà - it's lightlevels are alright?! So, the problem was indeed with the colors or the overlay options themselves. I still don't know what really bothered me about it, but as you can see I just said "fuck it" and turned it into a midnight blue. I'm a bit sad about everything but I rather have this finally finished than to colorgrade it again.

Also, I'm a bit sad that the Linework/Flatcolor stage looks so much better than the final version somehow?
This piece put everything somewhat to a halt - don't get me wrong, there's a lot more going on in my life than just me desperatly colorgrading it over and over again, but it definetly didn't help to come back to a piece I was just not satisfied with. Motivation dropped and the urge to draw something new increased. But because I was almost finished, I didn't want to let it go to waste so I just finished it.

I know oneself is the hardest critic and I bet there's people that actually like it very very much, so I just hope you're one of them!
