This should've been a simple redraw...but I don't know simple - I was mad that Bones didn't animate one of my favorite panels ever... So I had to give it some color!

People on Instagram said that they'd like a sunset atmosphere for Dabis Dance and I absolutely feel the same. It'd show how much time passed since the heros attacked and would give it a bit more dramatic look to it. Plus, it'd fit, because it's completely dark when the remaining villains fled. Although, I think the color play between Dabi and Shotos flames wouldn't be as vibrant because of the orange tint...
I didn't expect a redraw to be that time-consuming - to be fair I added quite a few more details... There's honestly not much to say - I had a few issues figuring out what Dabi actually does with his hand - but overall I am pretty experienced with this angle... I really like to draw him like that!
What really was a pain was the rimlight.... It took so much longer than usual to draw his hair. Because the glow was working best when being on top of the entire layer hierarchy, I had to select the light so it would overlap on the background (because I couldn't clip the layer) but because I like to use a rather textured brush for my outlines (Real G-Pen CSP), it wouldn't select the area as clean as I'd like it to be...so I had to go in and select everything manually... not even once, but four times bacause I wasn't satisfied with it and needed to change it... Yeah. Besides that, there wasn't much trouble. Harsh and dramatic lighting is quite easy for me... I feel like it hides a lot of stuff.
