This drama is just so good. I keep returning to it every year or so, and I love that others are discovering and appreciating it also.

2024-12-30 14:15:10 +0000 UTCAll the main characters are very complex, especially the villains, well, except for Yoon who is just a classic toady. Everyone carries pain and scars from previous events in their lives. The bad people have been twisted by those scars while the good people have not. The balance of internal and external forces is a good analogy. Ji-An should have been crushed by her terrible past, but she's still trying to be a decent person. Her internal forces are strong.
