There's a guy on YT who did scene reviews for this show and he did a great one for the "walk Ji-An back home together" scene in this episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcfV2Oxb1Rk&t=1416s Its a scene that really encapsulates what's great about this show. So much emotion generated from such a simple setup that works because every little detail is so well placed

2025-01-30 17:56:38 +0000 UTCI don't think I've ever found an interpretation of IU where she wasn't completely involved in the character: even in her early works, despite the predictable inexperience, IU always gives precious moments of escape from reality and makes you completely immerse yourself in the story. She really has a look that speaks, and she knows how to use it very well, in my opinion... (And with Shade of the Heart I didn't expect to be so taken by surprise by the emotions 😅)

And, of course, her award-winning role in Broker (12 min standing ovation at Cannes also)...is really not to be missed either. Great movie.

2025-01-27 13:35:18 +0000 UTCI'm excited to see them! and yeah he was showing that he was also a victim of abuse and his upbringing, it's a shame that he ended up that way, but what he chose to do with those feelings is what made him a villain. Yeah it might be done, but I still feel for her, she's not a villain or really even one to be hated, her behavior was so understandable, though her choice of who she got her needs met from was not a smart one.

You can also see why Yu-Ra is my favorite supporting actress. I was waiting for the moment when they revealed that she wasn't responsible for Gi-Hun's movie failing. If you understand Koreans then you know Dong-Hoon's marriage is done.
