Love this show, it's still a tear-jerker at times but in a much different way than My Mister for sure. Moreso heartwarming and about overcoming tribulations. Still has some frightening and heartbreaking moments though, as is standard with almost every Kdrama, especially one involved in solving crime. The actress that plays Youngwoo, Park Eunbin, is absolutely fantastic and the awards and accolades she received from playing this role were well deserved. She also has a sweet singing voice and did one of the OST's that show up later in the show. It's a remake of the song "The Blue Night of Jeju Island" originally by Choi Sungwon from 1988 which I believe you heard in EP. 7 of Hyori's B&B recently (she joked that people from Jeju don't actually listen to that song lol). Many singers have done official remakes of the song over the years. Soyou (SISTAR member, vocal trainer on PD48) has a popular remake, and you've also heard Gahyun cover Taeyeon's remake way back during the DC deep dive. It's a very comfy song.

I love, love, love this K-drama! I have to agree with those who said Park Eun-bin did an amazing job in this. Two of my kids are on the spectrum, and I always appreciate when an actor takes a role like this and really makes it a living, breathing, believable thing. If I ever sat down to rank dramas, this might just make it into my top 10 or higher.

Thank you for sharing that with me and the suggestion too! ☺️ even though I don’t have a lot of first hand experience with ASD, it’s still clear that she put a lot of care into being accurate and not being a stereotype or something to be ridiculed.

This is a Kdrama so you know their will be hidden connections and baggage from the past.
Park Eun-bin does an amazing job of portraying one level of ASD. I'm better at masking than she is, but I recognize everything she does. Oh Jung-se, who the played the autistic brother Moon Sang-tae in It's Ok Not To Be Ok, also did an exceptional job of portraying a slightly more severe form of autism.

Park Eun Bin received international recognition for her performance as the titular character in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, for which she won the Grand Prize for Television at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards. Park was named Gallup Korea's Television Actor of the Year, Sisa Journal's Cultural Person of the Year and Cultura's Drama Icon of 2022 after she played attorney Woo.
The plot will be more surprising in later episodes.
And maybe we will see a second season. Park Eun Bin already agreed to do a second season, but it can’t be a copy of the first season.
