Interesting. Gonna move a bit faster to get time for actual art-making.
How does he come upon these items? They’re all going to be in a box, that’s just a given.
1) He’s perusing an odd little store filled with odd and interesting items. He finds a jewelry box with the things in it. He picks one of the items and it turns out to be a magical practical joke…
2) He’s at a date’s home and, while she’s getting the drinks ready, he opens a jewelry box. It turns out she’s a witch and had commissioned this series of items for a friend to spice up her love life…
3) He finds himself in a certain plush 19th century-looking hallway. All of the doors have a brass plate with an animal’s face and a name; you know the place. He enters the room with the pig face and looks in the jewelry box…
