Potential changes pt. 2!

Aighty so the poll is in, and seems like most of you are in favor of changes <3  Woop woop!  I'll be doing my first freeb stream soon then!

Now second question-

do I have enough patrons who'd be able to make it to be patron only?

should I do "crowdfunded" freebies open to the public?

maybe I could do one or two patron-only freebs and one or two public streams??

should it still be weekly or bi-monthly?? ahhhh there's so many things I could do!

Again, I'd love to hear your feedback and what you think!

I'm sure I speak for a lot of us here when I say I appreciate so much how you work to include us in your decisions but that at the end of the day I want you to create at a comfortable pace for yourself and in a way to get you the most support for your work. In light of that, I think bi-monthly freebie streams would be great. It gives you plenty of time to take on more comissions and do personal projects between them. I think one free for all stream at the beginning of the month and then a patreon only one at the end would be best. That way at the end of the first stream you can mention that the next stream will be patreon exclusive and invite people to support you! Unfortunately I don't know much about crowd funded fanart so I can't help with input on that.

I personally like the idea of crowdfunded freebies - plus that's a great way to engage people with your art, as well. As far as schedule goes, no clue? Guess it'd depend on how much time you want to spend on them and how many drawings you want to do in each one.

Maybe one patron-only and one public each month? I guess you could alternate each week, too, but that sounds like it might be a lot. Don't wanna burn yourself out, especially if you're also working on comms and/or personal stuff. /2cents

I think the one or two patron and one or two public would be best for publicity. You have the tip banner and I hope you get tips regularly. Otherwise, freebie stream might be more of a monthly giveaway type deal. So you still give your fans that can’t support you monetarily but support with shares/word of mouth some love too. Weekly may be doable if you only stick to one or two pieces. Maybe make one day a month a “bonanza” day where you hit the stream for longer and crank out a bunch of quickies?

I'd say do bi-monthly and limit the freebs to 2-3 per stream so you don't exahust yourself! and then maybe do a third for the crowdfunded one, or one for patrons and another for the crowdfund, really the only way to find what works best for you is with trial and error with these things :'>

Just for your sake, it'd probably be best to do the freebe streams bi-monthly rather than weekly, just so you have more between time to work on your own commissions and whatever other project. Unless you believe you could manage a schedule of a weekly stream!
