2021-07-06 15:47:14 +0000 UTCThrowing in his lore: In the Warhammer Fantasy setting there are two moons: Mannslieb, the natural moon; and Morrslieb, a witching moon of incandescent green made of pure warpstone that was hurled into orbit at the dawn of history when the Dark Gods of Chaos first broke into the Old World. Morrslieb is a dark harbinger that is revered as a mother-goddess/elder sister type figure to the Beastmen of Chaos as they were born in the same dark cataclysm that sent her into the skies. Only waxing full twice a year, during the nights know as Hexensnacht (Witching Night) and Geheimnisnacht (Day of Mystery), her glowing gaze spreads a tide of mutation and madness across the world. It was on one of these nights when Morrslieb waxed especially full that she gave birth to a wyrdling meteorite-egg that was sent hurtling towards the world. From its glowing crater crawled a gibbering beastchild that glistened with unnamed fluids and whose erratic movements and gestures left afterimages in the air. The Beastmen came to name this mad child Moonclaw, Son of Morrslieb; the Lunatic Prince, Child of the Gravid Orb.

He's a special character hero unit for the Beastmen from the tabletop wargame Warhammer Fantasy. In spite of being an official character published in 2010, he is only featured in the single piece of artwork that came with his ruleset and never even received his own official miniature from Games Workshop. A Bloodborne-esque eldritch horned bestial moonspawn leading an army of anarcho-satanist wolf-goat boys seems like someone up your alley.
