IRL: Headed out for a bit
Added 2022-02-21 03:01:11 +0000 UTCI was planning on having some art for you this weekend but, I've been getting ready to head out on a work trip from N.E. to N.C for a week; so, no art. I'm slightly nervous as it is my first trip since the pandemic started. I'm also nervous because I'm biased against the South as far as COVID is concerned; I'm not proud but, there it is.
We'll be in Ashland which is apparently pretty cool and we'll be learning things at the Appalachian Bicycle Institute but, 16+ hours in a car through the South has got me nervous. We're all vaxxed and tested but, I've been finding it hard to balance legitimate concern and paranoia.
Hopefully, I'll come back disease-free, full of bike learning and ready to make art. Needless to say, while being in close proximity with four other co-workers (however cool), I won't be sketching for art I'll post here ;-)
