New tutorial in the works: Clarisse scatterers

Hello patrons,

I'm starting to work on a new tutorial for my Patreon feed, it is going to be about Isotropix Clarisse scatterers. In case you don't know Clarisse, take a look at their website for more information. I personally started to use Clarisse a few years ago while working at Double Negative on Godzilla. I used it there full time to work on five different films over the years that I worked for Dneg.

Clarisse is not only a renderer, it is also a powerful scene assembler with layout and set dressing capabilities. In this tutorial I want to talk about point clouds and scatterers to create full cg matte paintings like cities, forests, natural landscapes, crowds, and other effects. I was able to create many similar effects while working on assets and shots, without relying on the fx department.

We will take a look at all of these tools in the next video tutorial. In the meantime, please let me know if you'd like me to cover anything in particular related to this topic.

Estoy empezando a trabajar en el próximo tutorial, va a tratar sobre los scatterers en Isotropix Clarisse. Si no conoces Clarisse, échale un vistazo a su página web. Yo personalmente trabajé con Clarisse por primera vez en Double Negative, durante la producción de Godzilla. Lo utilicé si bien recuerdo en unas cinco películas a lo largo de todos los años que trabajé en Dneg.

Clarisse no es sólamente un renderer, también es un poderoso scene assembler con herramientas dedicadas para layout y set dressing. En este tutorial quiero mostrarte las herramientas de point clouds y scatterers para generar matte painting full cg, como ciudades, bosques, entornos naturales, multitudes, etc. Con este tipo de herramientas fui capaz en Dneg de generar multitud de efectos sin el apoyo del departamento de fx.
