Part 05 of the USD series is here.
This is a 3 hours video about working with FX layers in USD.
We will explore different situations where we will deal with roundtrips from LOPs to SOPs to LOPs. We will have a look at different types of FX that require different approaches when working with USD.
From vellum simulations, to rigid bodies or pyro simulations. Nothing very fancy but hopefully, it will give you the information that you need when dealing with FX layers of any kind.
We'll also look into the new USD features available in Houdini 19.5

La parte 05 de la serie USD ya está aquí.
En este video de más de 3 horas vamos a ver como utilizar capas de FX en USD.
Exploraremos como hacer roundtrips, desde LOPs a SOPs y otra vez a LOPs. Explicaremos diferentes formas de lidiar con diferentes tipos de FX y las particularidades de cada uno.
Desde simulación de vellum, hasta rigid bodies, pasando por pyro simulations. Todo muy sencillito pero espero sirva para explicar los conceptos necesarios que puedes aplicar a efectos más complejos.
También explicaremos las novedades con respecto a USD de Houdini 19.5
