On The Way to A Party, There is Lots of Combat
Added 2020-01-03 22:32:33 +0000 UTCSince to finish the companion and party system, I would have to change a few things in the combatant classes. I decided to take advantage of it and go through some of the items on my assorted list that are related to this part of the code. It's pretty important stuff for the future, honestly. As much as I want to dish out more content, If I do so with a shaky foundation that will only mean even more time in the future trying to fix it.
So, I am still not done sadly. There are still a few changes left before I can begin bug testing both systems. It might be too technical, but my task list is basically this:
- Refactor some of the mob code.
- Match the changed var structure to their UI displays.
- Match old event, enemies and skills to fit new structure as well.
- Match inventory, combat and class/skill managers too.
- Bug test.
- Implement talk feature to companions.
- Put AI interface into companion class.
It looks like a lot, but the four initial items are more drone work than complicated stuff. If I don't get this done by tomorrow I will work sunday as well.
