Done in One Day

Today on Bug Reporting

Bug reporting has been implemented, coded and tested in one day. And, oh boy, it's working beautifully. It was easier than I thought, to be honest. It is, after all, just an email sender implemented on the game, and .NET already has a simple library to implement those.

At any rate, now there's a bug report button where all you have to do is write about the bug and send, done. Don't even have to exit the game. And in case it's something about the text, said text is pasted into the message for you to point out the problem and alter as you like, or just delete and transcribe the problem yourself.

Thinking about it now, maybe I will add a suggestion tab there so you can send stuff if you want too. It would be as easy as adding another option to the dropdown option.

Tomorrow on the delayed public release

Tomorrow, I will finally get on to do that blasted final pass I have been talking about.

Since I haven't released the public version yet, and it's about the time I would usually release a mid-month build, I have decided to release the 0.4 public build with the new debug and bug reporting features and continuity changes I did this month, as holding back on these would be detrimental for everyone, really.

So, 0.4 public is also going to be 0.45. Make sure you keep an eye out. I am not sure how long the final pass is going to take, but I don't recon it will be more than a couple days at most.

The reason I always mention the public releases is that they usually are helpful to bring new people in and spread the word. I know whatever goes public is not much difference to you guys, but the more patrons we have, the more time I can justify spending on making the game!

Wow, that was a long one. But that's everything I needed to say.
