Skill Challenges
Added 2020-05-01 20:24:08 +0000 UTCAlright, so I found a couple bugs today while looking through the crossroad in-game. The warning panel's left button is apparently not working, will look at it later when I begin coding again. Otherwise, I went over the challenges you are to meet while wandering the crossroads.
Challenges will be encountered like combat encounters are, but will be solvable depending on your attributes. They might be solvable or avoided entirely depending on your party member or other key items you will be able to purchase. They won't have fixed attribute values, so your success is a chance that increases with the attribute used.
The goal is to make attributes more meaningful, make exploration more exciting and perilous, and give you another type of encounter beside the combat ones (the variation hopefully will make things more interesting).
I have already written one and prepared the concept for the others. My goal is to have all of them done on Monday. Have a good weekend everyone! Stay safe!
