Rundown of What's Happening

I missed the last two ETAs pretty fucking heavily. Who knew redesigning your whole UI in the last two weeks of the month you are supposed to release a new update wouldn't work, huh? I have paid for my folly with the last two weeks of my life being dedicated to not doing anything apart from my day job and this. I did miss a national holiday, but have been taking the weekends off to maintain mental health. So, don't worry too much? Anyways, boy, there is still more to do.
Me missing my ETAs is a function of my dumbass never being able to accurately predict the end of a job, but has also been a function of the fact a month is just not enough to cover all the bases of a video game. Fuck, I am QA, writer, designer and coder all at once. It obviously is a lot. I think I genuinely should increase the time between updates to be something like 6 weeks, or at least 5.
Anyways, here is what left to do until the update can be released:
- Finish the main menu.
- Finish the party menu.
- Finish a few details missing on the last menus remaning.
- Re-do Allurgard's side panel UI.
- Re-do base building UI.
- Test all these menus and the UI in general thoroughly.
- Finish implementing the two events made last month and the start of Grimwood's dungeon.
So, I estimate about 3-4 work days for all this, if nothing goes wrong. But of course something will go wrong, so let's just say 5 for the sake of my heart. God, is this what project manager's have to go through on a daily basis? Fuck me.
Anyway, next update is next week basically. Sorry for the missed dates once again, but hopefully the transparency helps with that. When I launch the next update I will also be updating the whole patron page, btw. Nothing major, just some adjustments to better reflect the time frame of updates and fixing the rewards which are categorized wrong.
