Sketchbook Girl - Final Inks
Added 2017-07-10 04:42:13 +0000 UTCAnd here she is!! Realized I didn't want her blonde considering it looked kinda bad after initial inks, so now she's like brunette or something. Added a thumb on the left hand, cuz three dangling fingers don't look too great. My process usually goes that anything which looks like it needs improvement before publishing WILL BE IMPROVED, or it will keep me up until it is done.
I think stuff like this is fun to draw. I sometimes worry about it, because there's such a gaze being placed upon the women I draw, but I have been reassured by many women that those who I draw clearly demand control of their own image - that they are always delighted in causing said gaze. I dunno. It's a weird spot. On the one hand - sure, I totes get it. On the other, tho, that excuse is used all the time by people who are torn to shreds by critics. But they're usually men who say that shit, so whatevs.
