Comic commission I am working on

My friend Meg has hired me to do a one-page comic about her friend Hayes as a Buffy-type who beats up on white men, which is going pretty well thus far! There wasn’t a lot of direction, apart from it being a scene of fighting going over one page, with a big splash of them as the last panel.

Here is the (admittedly quick) design for Hayes’ outfit

I ended up planning the page in a way that leads the eye better than I think I usually do (or at least in a more interesting manner than usual); even tho there is a bit that I have yet to work on (a couple of panels where less is shown cuz I haven’t figured that shit out yet), I am happy with the plan!

Wanted to really get going on it tonight, but as always, drawing panels takes for-fucking-ever, and so that’s all I was able to get done. But at least I should have about four hours tomorrow night to work on it!
