Upcoming Stufffffff
Added 2019-01-29 03:11:37 +0000 UTCSorry I’ve been away for so long. I was sick this month for a stupid extended period and haven’t worked on much. Just wanted to throw out some info on what you’ll see coming your way soon!
Rn I am working on my best friend’s birthday present, which is v exciting but also challenging cuz it includes lot of pugs and creativity, neither of which I am great at. After that I have a flyer to draw for this big upcoming LGBTQIA+ SWSW showcase, which I have to have done by Feb 16 (this is me sweatin’ billets). Gonna defs Get this all done in a timely manner, even tho I have to be fast!
After that comes the good stuff. Unfortunately I haven’t been reading a lot of comics lately, but I keep seeing art that inspires me a lot. Been flipping through MORT CINDER by Breccia and Oesterheld, and like it’s v gorgeous, and kinda shows a really novel approach to story-telling (and did I mention it’s gorgeous?).
My goal is this: make a comic (probably a series of short comics) that I can take with me to Staple Con in September (v local, and so that makes everything easier). It’s a bit away, but I know that time’s gonna creep up on me like no one’s business, cuz, ya know, that’s life.
Oh, I also am getting a scanner v soon from my brother and so I’ll hopefully be able to do more color work as time progresses, as well!
