Little Update!
Added 2021-12-07 22:48:22 +0000 UTCHey y’all! No new art this month yet, as I have been pretty sick! I am also desperately looking for work in NYC, which is way harder than I could have known or expected. AND I got the booster shot yesterday, and so I don’t feel well right now lol
BUT!! Okay, so I have a bit planned for each tier if I am not doing new art currently.
For the $1 tier (and above, obvs!): this summer I went through like a decade or more’s worth of endless sketchbooks and just random sketches in an attempt to get rid of them because I just couldn’t take it all to Brooklyn! But I took TONS of pictures of the various drawings throughout, and so I’ll be posting some of those and talking a bit about them! There’s even some process-oriented stuff there that should be really cool to see!
For the $5 tier: I am gonna be doing a deep-dive analysis into my book MY LIFE TO LIVE, probably in four- or five-page chunks, describing the making of it, the storytelling choices, the references, and showing other external sketches (don’t have a ton because I didn’t do that many) and reference pics I took for the book! So I think that should be really fun, and I’ll finally be able to express all these things about it that maybe some people didn’t necessarily pick up on! (Despite feeling like art should speak for itself, the book has been out for over two years now and maybe I’d like to talk about it a bit haha)
Anyway, that’s probably gonna take up the rest of the month, maybe into January (and obviously if I DO make some new art, y’all will see that, too!!); I hope y’all are excited! I know I am!! 😊😊😊
