So these pages were ones I was trying to use to pitch ANAïS//ANAïS last year, but I kind of just couldn’t jive with this direction of the narrative - I don’t think I had any idea of how it would end. In this instance, both Regular Anaïs (cis) and Leather Anaïs (trans) exist but effectively in parallel universes; like they are both very popular, but in different ways. Regular Anaïs is super beloved for being “France’s Good Girl,” even tho she is anything but; but she tries to stay the way her management wants in public so that the money keeps flowing. On the other hand, Leather Anaïs is entirely herself all the time, uncompromising, wildly sexual, but because of that she is highly notorious; she is famous, but in a kind of negative way, with people whispering about her all the time. She tries to look past it, but it DOES get to her.

That’s kind of what I tried to show here. Tbh I think these pages are pretty good, but… I just don’t care about this direction anymore; and my art style has changed DRASTICALLY since I drew these. Maybe I’ll end up posting them for funsies sometime, but for now they are a Patreon Exclusive. ☺️☺️☺️
