Oh man, so apart from the drawing I did of all my cute OCs around the holidays last year, I hadn’t drawn Gertrude in like a year!! And so last night I was sketching and the sketch turned into this and I dunno she just looks very fucking hot lmaoooo.

This new rendering I am doing is kind of insane; it’s incredibly time-consuming, but also the way you have to leave space in the rendering for highlights can be weird, and the fact that every shadow takes on the color of the linework (unless you deliberately change it) — there’s a lot to consider! But I feel like every new piece teaches me something else, and I hope that this is coming through! ☺️🙏💖

I have a few new covers to work on shortly, and I hope that when I do, all of this work will pay off (literally) hahaha ☺️
