Black Canary

I think she came out really well! ☺️☺️☺️ I took the idea from that sketch I posted the other day and just kinda tried to replicate the vibe but zoomed in a bit. Just looking kind of, I dunno, a bit sad while smoking — it’s a vibe sometimes tbh hahaha
The more I spend on this new style, the faster I am getting, and the more I am learning. I feel like almost every piece is like a big step up in many ways, and that feels great! ☺️ I really do hope that someone hires me for a big cover soon because I think I am gonna be really bringing a different kind of game this time.
To be honest, I like most of the covers I have done! But I also think that sometimes I maybe should have let them cook a little longer; this new style takes me a longer time, which is actually good, because it might mean that I just take more time to sit with the piece than previously.
According to my Black Canary photo album on my phone, this is now the twelfth drawing of her that I have done — I think that’s easily more than I have drawn of any other character ever, I think even including Spider-Man. Dang. I guess that’s what happens when someone designs a character that is like 100% my aesthetic lmao

I drew a Zatanna recently! You can find her on my Instagram! ☺️ Unforch it’s probably one of the least interesting drawings I have done of late, but - you know - it’s all a part of the process! I DEFINITELY want to draw Typhoid Mary, tho. I think I have started to try many times for like the last fifteen to twenty years and I have just never finished one 😭😭😭😂 Maybe someday!

Considering how much I adore video games — and especially Resident Evil — you’d think I would draw more than one drawing of Claire Redfield! But NOPE! 😂 Maybe sometime, tho!!
