Empowered Commission!
Added 2025-09-03 01:08:25 +0000 UTCOkayyyyy!!! So this was pretty fun because I adore Adam Warren, although tbh I had actually never read Empowered before (despite owning five volumes of it ๐ ๐ญ). I knew, tho, that at some point during those volumes that Warrenโs art style changed and Empowered got more plump (HOTTTTTTTT), and so I had to ask my commissioner whether they wanted earlier Emp or later Emp; thankfully they said later!
I know Empoweredโs costume is usually in tatters, but tbh, you know me - leather, latex, and pvc vinyl vibes are my specialty, and so I wasnโt about to ruin that by having that all destroyed! ๐ค๐ค๐ค lol
Honestly this drawing was really hard with regard to the rendering and it wore out my hand so badly that I had to put a pause on the other commissions for a few days; but I will be back to them soon! โบ๏ธโบ๏ธโบ๏ธ After I finished it, tho, I decided to just read volume 12 (since it was the one I was primarily using for reference), and honestly I enjoyed it! I donโt think Warren is as funny as, say, Kyle Baker, but I appreciate his loyalty to the worlds he creates, and his loyalty to creating gorgeous and extravagant art! โบ๏ธ
ALSO, as a little update, my birthday is coming up soon on the fourteenth, and I hope to have an extra-special piece of art done for that day (what will the piece consist of? WHO IS TO SAY!!!). Because itโs my birthday, I might actually put it out to the public, even if it is dirty lmao. But I will still try to do something fun, and maybe a little extra for my patrons! โบ๏ธโบ๏ธโบ๏ธ

Emp!!! This is amazing, I love Emp! Your commissioner has impecable taste. And boy you so did Emp right in this commission, it is somehow cooler to see her with her suit intact for once ๐ Btw, I don't exagerate when I say that volume 11 is one of the most espectacular american comics I've read. The whole comic was amazing but tha volume in particular, yeah, top tier stuff.
