40k boltor is complete!!!! :D

HELLO EVERYONE! the Warhammer 40k bolter is complete!!!! :D and man is it massive!! the thing stands at 600mm long and is more in line with an assault rifle than a pistol :D I was tempted to bring the scale down a bit but after holding it, it feels just right considering this thing is normally held by a 8-foot tall supersoldier :D as for the features! they all worked!!!!! wooooohooo!!!

although this model is a bit simpler mechanically it feels a lot more solid and pulling that slider back to show the bullets is freaking awesome!!!! and if I can I want to use this feature on all future projects :D

also, this is my first model where I have designed it fully spray paintable! so what do I mean by that? the model has been designed so that you can spray paint each part before final assembly, block colour it (blue, grey, gold) dry brush on a bit of weathering and you are good to go :D no masking, no hand-painting needed, this should make it a lot easier to paint :D

this model was a blast to make and I learned a hell of a lot more than I was expecting to and it is freaking awesome to see this thing in real-life scale instead of on a 25mm mini :D now on to the shotgun!!!!! :D
