energy sword wip

hello everyone! I have an update on the energy sword!!! the basic modelling is complete!!!! and man this thing is gonna be epic!!! now that I have the 3d model to look at I can much better explain what I'm planning to do for the transparent blades! basically, I'm building my own infill!!!! :D with extra bits!!!

so a bit more info on what I'm looking to do. spiral mode is awesome but has some limitations, 1 parameter can be weak, no top layers. the last one is a big problem if you trying to glue parts together don't have the top layers to glue onto.

but those top layers come with issues too as they need infill to support the top layers as well as add rigidity to the model, but with infill, you lose the transparency of the filament which makes the entire thing pointless,
now here is the fun bit, designing my own infill!! this will allow me to have it support the top layers where needed but then be able to shape it in a way to make it look like the wavy effect from the game! its a win win! also with being able to design the internal structure of the model I'm planning on adding channels on the outside edge of the blade for LEDs, this should make the slicy bit of the blade look awesome while keeping the internal structure clean. :D

yeah, that was a paragraph or 2 hehe as for the model it's gonna be epic!!! as well as add another tool to the belt for future projects :D
