Halo 3 sniper is complete!!!!

HELLO EVERONE!!!! :D Today I have for you! THE HALO 3 SNIPER RIFLE!!! woooooooo :D this was a tricky project!! I came up with a few now things for this model that needed quite a bit of finessing :D BUT THE FEATURES WORKED!!! WOOHOOO! :D

to the features!!!

this model has!

moving trigger!

removable mag!

internals!

bolt together construction!

magnetic removable plates showing internals!

scope with mirrors to correct view down the scope! with LEDS for visual awesomeness :D

and the big one!!! moving slider that recoils when trigger is pulled!!!! :D this was the tricky one! when i started working on this one i wanted to try using simpler electronics to create the effect i wanted but didn't need a super powerful board to run it, I decided to use a gear boxed dc motor and 2 cleverly placed switches for the recoil instead :D using this motor meant i had the torque needed plus a nice way to mount the motor :D and im really happy with how its working out! plus as a bonus! if you keep the trigger pulled, the model is fully automatic!!!! hahahaha :D

this one was a really fun project to make though it had its tricky bits, it was well worth it :D and i cant wait to use this electronics set up in future models :D

OH AND ANOTHER FIRST! this model is not fully complete!! some of you guys wanted to use your own pipes for the barrel for the model so I'm designing a customizable blender file that you can use to size spacers to fit you own pipes for the barrel :D ill have that sorted in a bit for you guys :D
